October 5, 2008 - Windows of the World
|
| Travel the world without ever leaving the concert hall on this musical tour of Europe,
Asia and the Americas. Our multi-cultural excursion takes a look through Peter Graham's
Windows of the World-a musical journey through Japanese sunrises,
African thunder, Celtic visions and mysteries of the Amazon.
Next we'll travel to the Far East for Variations on a Korean Folk Song.
Then, we're off to Europe with Tchaikovsky's Capriccio Italien
and Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody before flying on winged horses in
Wagner's thrilling Ride of the Valkyries. Bon Voyage!
